Vaudeville-Pictures

The new Keith vaudeville bill at
the Palace theater this week proved
to be another gala program of mer-
riment and it was received with en-
thusiasm yesterday by large audi-
ences that well filled the Palace for
the matinee and the evening shows,
Manager David Esterson has again
proved his good judgement in the
selection of the five acts, everyone
of which pleased the Palace patrons
to a high degree. Norv elle Brothers,
the musical acrobats opened the
show with novelties or an unusual
order. Melva Therma in songs de-
lighted very much. Gardner and
Revere did some excellent dancing
and enlivened their act with good
comedy. fields and Finkm, a. com—
edy duo took the house by storm
with their nonsense and this act
moved a. riot. The Dancing Fiends
an aggregation of high class enter-
tainers closed the show. The test.
ure picture attraction “April Show-
ers" is one of the prettiest and most
pleasmg cinema releases that. has
been offered to the theatergoers in
Norwalk this season. The entire
show will continue today and tomor-
row.

“Jealous Husbands”

Jane Novak and Earle lVilliams
are stars of "Jealous Husbands"
which was presented for the first
of a. two-day run at the Regent thea—
ter yesterday. The engagement will
close today. Patrons of the Regent
were, delighted with the attraction,
w hich prmed to be one of the most
pleasing or the season's picture of-
“rings. Seldom are all of the ele—
ments going to make up a good re-
lease so \\'t'll combined as in this
feature. 'l‘hcrc are no more popu-
lar stars than Miss Novak and Mr.
\Villiams. The direction of the pict-
ure is perfect. and every other de~
tail is so \vcll attended to that the
\‘L'lllCle becomes at once one of the
outstanding productions of the sea-
son.

The automobile was on its side.

a telephone pole.

He crawled from underneath the
steering wheel and dragged out Lina
with him. He stood up. completely
sobered. but nervously'excited. His
legs were all right. His arms were
not brolqa-n. He felt blood running
down into his eyes. There was a
gash on his forehead at the base (it

away with his sleeve. Lina lay on
the grass, limp. moaning.

“Where are you hurt, Lima." he
cried. feeling for her arms. He
caught them and tried to drag her to
her feet.

ran her hand up and down the limb.

we'd better rush her to the hospital.
Put her in our car. It won't take
John long to run her into town."
