Accidentally Struck.

Miss Mary Mahoney who resides
in the Lauder building It the cor-
ner of \Vaalilngtou and South Main
streets, was taken to the Norwalk
Hospital last evening as a result of
injuries received when ,she was
struck last evening by an automo-
bile owned and driven by Clarence
Slauoon as she stopped out into the
road in West Washington street.
Mr. Shannon. it is declared. was
driving his car at. a'slow rate of
speed at the time of the accident.
Miss Mulroney stopped from in be-
hind another automobile parked
near Gedney'o Bakery, and Mr.
Hiauson did not see her in time ‘ to
avoid striking her. The tender of
his ear hit and pushed her to in;-
pavement.
She was taken to the office ofpr.
Robert. M. W'olie where she was
treated and then taken to the hos-
pital by Mr. Slauson. Miss Mulroney
was injured about the knees. It
was stated at the hospital this morn-
ing that her injuries were not seri-
ous. No arrests were made.
