action was instituted in Superior
Court yesterday by Irving A. Jones
of New Canaan, against Grenville
Parker. also of New Canaan. to re—
cover for personal injuries sustained
when cars driven and owned by the
principals collided. October 13. on
Stamford Avenue, near Lapham's
Chicken Farm.
Jones alleged that Parker was op-
erating his car while under the in-
fluence of liquor. The complaint
sets up that Jones. who is a carpen-
ter, was unable to work for weeks
alter the accident‘and was‘forced to
expend a large sum in repairing his
machine. The action is returnable
to the present term or the Superior
Court.
