Heavy winds over thawed: end
snapped the lines and cables on some
of tho boats anchored in the Five
Mile River. A number of the lighter
boats drifted down with the wind and
title to the White Bridge, when they
were later found by their owners.

The wind also wreaked havoc at
the store of P. Needle. Rowayton
avenue. Two large plate glass win-
dows were broken by the force of
the storm and a large electrically
illuminated sign was dislodged from
its perch beneath the roof's eaves.
