tion to the operating plant of the
Bell Telephone System over 3150.-

months, service was extended to
more than one-half million addition-
al stations. " The demand for service
is unabated. and there are still some
places in which .we are not able
promptly to connect new patrons.
The new facilities which are being
provided will favorably affect this
condition. and while supplying need-
ed service will also provide their
proportionate earnings.
