"Drifting." Priscilla. Dean‘s new
plctfire. given its initial run of
three days in Norwalk at the i-‘alace
Theater yesterday and as might
have been expected it created no
littlo'siir. After her appearance in
"Outside the Law" and It] or as
“Cigarette" in the celebrated ~clcase
"Under Two Flags" much was ex-
pected of Miss Dean but not more
than she was, capable of delivering.
Her new picture is one of the best
screen productions of this year and
it reflects no little credit upon the
Universal organization that bzought
it forth. Every detail from the start
to the finish of the picture has been
handled in a manner that at once
satisfies; the theater patron that
there is before him not a. feeble ef-
fort of some one experimenting but
the work of capable artisans who
have truly interpreted the ‘ molic's
desires in the matter of motion pic-
ture entertainment. The Palace pro-
gram. in addition to “DrafIHT-g" in-
cludes Reginald Denny in "The
Leather Pushers" a. new series that
eclipses the splendid record mode by
the two previous series. Palace pa-
trons are getting a full value show
during the first half of this week
