STAMFORD. Oct. 19.—
The.whereabonts of seventeen-
year-Old Minnie L'lmschnelder. be-
lieved spirited away from her home
in Cos Cob two weeks ago, are still
unknown. despite the exhaustive
search carried on by the police. The
girl. who was to appear in the trial
of Dr. Benjamin Bohannan. arrested
on a. charge of malpractice three
weeks ago. disappeared an hour be-
fore. the time of the scheduled trial.
The police are inclined to believe.‘
however. that. the girl is secreted
at present in a Canadian city. Her
mother appears entirely unaware as
in where her ‘daughter may be.
Mrs. Ulmsclmeldcr said last. night.
she has not heard from her daughter
since she disappeared two weeks
ago. ,
The fact that the girl disappeared
a. short time before she was to be
taken to Stamford by Medical
Examiner Clarke. of Greenwich. to
appear against the Stamford phy-
sician. has caused considerable com-
ment locally as the time drawn near
{or the resumption of the trial in
the City Court on Monday.
