list reached its present low mark.
It is said that the latest cut is along
the line or Ford's policy to give the
public the benefit of organization
economies and improved methods of
manufacture.‘
Continuing their high daily rate of
production" the Domestic Assembly
Plants of the Ford Motor Company
produced a total of 40. 597 Ford cars-
and trucks for: the week ending Sopr
ternber 11. During the same period
189 Lincoln motor cars and 1,825
Fordson tractors were made. The
week previous, which included La-
bor Day, saw the completion or 33,-
465 Ford cars and trucks. 176 Lin-
colns and 1 706 tractors.
During the month of August. when
the change Over to new models oc-
curred, with a. consequent slowing
up of output. the Domestic and For-
eign Plants. including Walker-ville.
