Casket Goes Towards Final Resting Place

This remarkable photograph, rushed to New York yesterday by
air route from Marion shows the last remains of the country’s
Chief Executive being tenderly placed in the hearse on the last

Photograph shows the flag-draped casket being borne on its misson towards Penn-
sylvania Avenue down which the solemn procession went, accmpanied by the guard
of honor shown abov . The Army and lfavy guard may be seen at the left and
the delicate columns of the White House .. are to be seen in the background. The
President hereleaves the White House for the last time. Mrs. Harding was dose
to the casket on its final procession in theCapitol.
