Three were taken to the Stamlord
hospital following an accident at the
corner of, West Iiain street and
Greenwich avenue shortly utter noon
yesterday. when a Ford sedan driven
by Mrs. Katherine Kneff. of 1648
East Twenty-first street. Brooklyn.
collided with a. wagon in an attempt
to avoid striking a. trolley car. The
owner and driver of the wagon, wu
not recorded on the police blotter
last night.
The injured are Rose Pose. 12. of
13 High street. Waterbury. suffering
from a. possible fracture of the
skull; Joeeph Cherrier. nine. of 21
Greenwich avenue. who was in the
wagon. minor bruises about the
body: and the 'driver. Mrs. Knefl.
who récelved cuts about the Head
and body bruises. Late last night
the condition of Miss Pose was seri-
ous. according to hospital authori-
ties.
In the machine besides the ‘wo in-.
lured were Viola Knefl. and Edmund
Knoll. daughter and husband of the
injured woman. and Dorothy Pier-
son of Weetport. The! suffered mi-
