bridge. Just over the Darien line
and almost in front of Welsheit's
Half Way house. Sunday morning. A
big sedan owned by Mrs. Andrew
Taylor of the Post road. Darien. and
driven by Charles Murphy. chauffeur
for Mrs. Taylor. collided with a
sedan driven by John '1‘. Holmes of
Bridgeport. 130“: cars were practi-
cally demolished. No arrests have
been made as yet. but Grand Juror
Martin J. Shaughnessy and Officer
Ernest L. what are investigating the
crash. The Taylor car was headed
for Stamford and the Holmes car
proceeding to Norwalk when the ac-
