Next week will be known as re-
quest week at the Rialto theater the
films will change every day. The pho-
toplays shown will be the choice of
localrmovle fans. The novel idea or-
iginated by Manager Hamiltonof the
Rialto has met with a hearty response
from the Not-walk theatre public. over
three hundred replies being sent in.
Love that turned to hate is the sub-
Ject of‘the celebrated drama. “Thorns
and Orange Blossoms." the picture
now playing at the Rialto theatre.
The play is an adaption of Bertha M.
Clay‘s famous story by the same
name which has been a favorite for
many years among lovers of fiction
and devotees of the theatre. Its ad-
vent to a picture version is.a welcome
one.
The theme of the plot is the con-
suming love of Rosita, Spain's favor-
ite prima dogna. for a young Am-
erican merchant and how through
jealousy this love turned to hate
which separated him from his friends
and sent him behind prison bars.
