silver screen adaptation of Laurette
Taylor‘s "Peg 0' My Heart." The
legion of Norwalk theatre-goers who
witnessed the presentation lastjiight.
voiced their unqualified approval of
the picture. many venturing an opin-
io'n that it was more comprehensive
than the legitimate stage showing of
the theme, which proved such a
rousing success a decade ago. In-
terest in the picture was heightened
by the fact that Laurette Taylor.
original star of the stage play, ap-
peared in the leading role of the mo-
tion picture adaptation, thus preclud-
ing the customary loss of setting and
