claims some very speedy crafts among
its number. The "Spark Plug" recently
embarked by Messrs. Canevari, Lynea
and Foder. the red speedster of Er—
nest Worden. the green clipper of
Tow Benedict. and many others are
coming into the attention of the pub
lic. Amongst such close competitors.
there is bound to be rivallry and dis-
pute. VV’hy not let the general pop-
ulation be in on the argument and
also help settle it? Years ago there
were some very interesting races
sponsored by local seamen; along the
Third district coast the time now for
those things is just as opportune. The
men who are interested in this game
should see what can be done about
continuing long established precedent.
