In 1918 Lad passed on and the
whole country mourned his depar-
ture. Wolf succeeded his iamous ia-
thcr in the stories of Mr. 'lerhuna
The son had long since abandoned
his harum scar-um ways and had do-
velcped into a model member of the
h'l'erhuno dog circle. In Staci. Wolf
became the property and the pet of
Mrs Terhune.
As Mr. 'Derhuno put it yesterday.
he became the clovorest of all the
collics. One could tail: to Well and
get full loyalty. One could like talk.
One could depend on W0]! and gel
cull loyalty. One could like “'olt and
say so. and the soft. cool nose woulo
come poking around and the tall
would begin to wag till it seemed so
