be formed in this section of the coun~
ty. which will include the Pairfleld
American Legion. American Storage
Battery of Stamford. Greens Farms.
Noroton. Nationals and the East End
teams.
A meeting or the league was held
last evening in this city. at the home
of “’allace l'ulmer. the manager of
the Hunt. End t-‘nm. at which time
plans were gone over for the forming
of the league. A committee was up-
jointed to draw up a schedule and ar-
nngc for the playing fields. Etch
team in the league at. the present
time has .1 playing field with the ex-_
ception of the Nationals and the Am-
eritan Storage Battery tesm.1t is
hoped to secure playing fields for
these two teams.
Each team in the league has been
playing :1 great brand of baseball this
season unli it is expected that some
exciting games will result from the
formation 0! this league. The Na-
tionals will lift strengthened for their"
entrance into the league and will be
able to cope with the stronger teams
in the ciicujt.
