sons in Connectlcut had not incomes
exceeding a. quarter million dollars in
the 12 months up to the first of last
year. according to figures made pub-
lic Saturday at the office of United
States Internal Revenue Collector
Robert 0. EatOn. The aggregate of
their net incomes was 8522.703. and
jointly thcy paid 807.361 to the gov—
ernment on account of the income
tax.
“‘hlle there wcre 21 incomes in the
United States exceeding one million
dollnm. Collector Eaton‘s report show-
ed that none of these was in Connec-
ticut. It indicated, however. that
about a dozen more Connecticut peo-
ple had entered the millionaire class
during the calendar year covered.
