ment seem to be devoid of common
sense and respect for the traveling
public. At least. that is the way the
automcblllst feels about it. The new
concrete highway between Bridgeport
city line and Long Hill center for in-
stance. is completed. In-
stead of compl one section. then
doing another-section. the method of
the workers is to put a patch here
and a patch there. on one side and
then the other. '
This road consists of two strips of
concrete. each one-car wide. on the
sides of the road.'with a strip of ma-
cadam in the middle. The macadam'
has never been treated and rolled. It
is Just loose stone.. '
