lie-m. G. Aussenhofer of Nos-walk. tem-
porarily. residing in Barton. has been
named defendant in a foreclosure ac-
tion brought by Mary E.. ' and Edna
)1. Mills. also of Norwalk. and the
Ford Technical Laboratories of Nor-
walk was subsequently named defend.
ant in a similar action brought by
Aussunhoi'er. Both actions are 're-
turnable in the Superior court on the
first Tuesday in June.
The South Norwalk Trust company
and the People's Trust company.
both of South Norwalk. are named
party defendants in the Mills’ suit. and
Goodwin P. White. doing business'in
Norwalk under the name of the Schu-
nam Art Paint company. is named a
party defendant'in the suit brought by
Aussenhofer, against the Ford labor—
atories. Both actions are for the
foreclosure of mortgages held by the
plaintiffs. and possession of the prop-
eriy involved is claimed by both par-
ties.
The Mills' complaint sets forth that
on May 2. 1919. Mrs.
owed the plaintiffs $6,000 on a note.
for which she gave a mortgage on
which no interest has ever been paid.
The South Norwalk Trust company
holds a 82.500 mortgage against the
property. issued March 18.‘1920. and
a mortgage of $2.000 is held by the
People's Trust company an the prop-
crty. Interest in the amount of 8660.
foreclosure and possession of the
property is claimed.
In the action against the Ford la-
boratories, Auesenhofer claims that
on July 12. 1922. the concern pur-
chased property from him. agreeing to
pay a balance of 815.000 which he has
not received on a mortgage which he
holds. \V'liite has an attachment of
8300 on the property in question
against the laboratories. Aussehhofer
claims foreclosure of the mortgage
and possession of the property.
