has garbage collection troubles. The
regular meeting or the Westport
Town Improvement Association dis-
cussed the matter yesterday. this talk
coming on the heels o! a similar one
at a recent town meeting. The ques-
tion to be decided yesterday was'
whether the W. T. I. A. was to con-
tinue the collection or garbage and
ashes. which it started a year ago to
prove to the town authorities that it
was a needed improvement. or should
the association withdraw its support
from the matter.
It was finally voted yesterday that
the association would withdraw finan-
cial support in the collection at gar-
bage and ashes atter July let.
A representative or the Sons of Italy
also appeared at the meeting and
asked for financial support in the new
