. All accident occurred on Tuesday
evening about 8: 3O o'.clock when two
Mack trucks came together at the
corner of Sedgwlck avenue and the
Post road. The Mack truck owned
by Hyman Epstein. or 767 saview
avenue. Bridgeport. was going to-
wards New York. and crashed into
another Mack truck. at the above
mentioned corner. This truck was
owned by Grier Brothers or Sufiioid.
Conn. Epstein did not stop to ascer~
tain the result 0! the accident or to
find out it any oie was injured. but
kept on going. Constable Harry
Palmer was notified of the accident.
and he in turn notified the Stamford
police. and Epstein was caught a lit-
tle way out ct mentord. lie was
placed under arrest (or evading re.
sponsibillty. The truck owned by.
Grier Brothers was badly damaged.
and was towed to a garage where re-
pairs are being made. The radiator
and tenders were almost completely
