“Knight Guest" Presumed at Mati-
nee Today and All shows meow.
Because of the presentation 'of
"Miss Bob White" at the Regent
Theatre this evening, there will be
no picture program. but “The Mid-
night Guest" which was today'- mati-
nee attraction will be presented for
the three shows tomorrow. This pro~
duction is one of the best of a series
of very good attractions that has
been released by Universal. Grace
Dermond end Mehlon Hamilton have
the leading roles annd they score hits
in their respective parts. Clyde Fill-
more. Pat Harmon and Mathilde
Brundage complete the cast of the
principals and they are ably support-
ed throughout the feature. The set-
tings are showy and the atmosphere
from the start to the finish is one of
unvaried luxury. The work of Miss
Darmond and Hamilton end Fillmore
stand out particularly as very unusual
and pelasing end the entire picture
makes a. strong appear.

John Gilbert. Monte Cristo Star in
"The Madness of Youth"
John Gilbert needs no introduction
to Norwalk. Already well‘ known as
an actor of ability he was presented
here in Monte Cristo and it is safe
and fair to say that few pictures that
been played anywhere in this section
since have measured up to the success
’of that production. Gilbert's stock
went up unusually fast as a result of
"Monte Cristo" and now he is con-
cerned with keeping it at the high
point. That is one of the reasons
why the public is bound to get a
good attraction when they find John
Gilbert‘s name attached to it. ”The
Madness of Youth" at the Palace
theatre this afternoon end evening
and tomorrow matinee only is just
such a picture end the fans who miss
this one will lose out on an attrac-
tion that is far above the ordinary.
Splendid short subjects will complete
the bill for both days.

Lloyd, Yes. they are no other than
the spectacled comedian and his pret-
ty little leading lady. Mildred Davis.
Harold and Mildred are meeting
people all this week at the Rialto
theatre. in the seven-reel Paths
comedy. “Safety Last." and the big
event took place shortly after the
completion of the production.
It is a fitting thing that "Safety
Last." which contains more fun, thrills
and spills in the foot than any other
comedy that has been filmed. tells
one of the most charming love stories
ever presented in a picture. As the
boy. head-over-heels in love. Harold
gets into the most trying difficulties.
In fact. Lloyd climbs the side of a
lz-story building and runs into more
hair—raising situations than anyone
could imagine. But his reward is
winning the love of his screen sweet-
heart. the girl. and incidentally. Mrs.
Lloyd. Como'and wish them loads of
happiness.
