New Show Proves Very Popular On
The Opening Dal
Palace vaudeville patrons who wit-
ne-ed the presentation of the live act
but at the local theatre yesterday
were unanimous in declaring it one
of the tinest programs that has been .
offered in this city in the history of
this term or entertainment. There was
not a single dull moment throughout
the entire show and the enthusiaun
that was apparent was clear evidence
that the show met with unqualified
approval. Meredith and Bnooser
brought an unusual line of entertain-
ment to the stage. Snoozer is a dog
with a seemingly human intellect. His
performances under the direction of
his trainer were such as to create
wonder among the patrons who saw
this unique nct. Tclauk and Dean of-
{Q'I'Ed a rapid fire succession of
lnughs With that? skit entitled
“Calling." Danube and Joyce were
not new to Norwulk. both of them
having been here sometime ago in
“The Drug Clerk" and Miss Joyce
later spent at week singing at the ite-
gi-nt uml l'alucc. This act was given
it fine ovation and the song numbers
of the couple were particularly pleas-
ing. Lew itich dispensed. song. dance
and music that were mixed in just
the right quantities. His one string
fiddle occasioned many laughs and
furnished l’t‘ill good entertainment.
Charles (irr's "A Holland Romance"
closed the- \‘zilldi'Vllle. This miniature
muslczil coniwly was as bright I. bit of
entertainment as could be desired.
The feature picture for yesterday was
Clara Klnllh’ill Young's “Cordelia The
Magnificent." This is easily one of
Miss Young's best. It will continue to-
day.

to he ono of the host Paramount re-
leases of the season and like "The
Shrik" and other productions from
the hand of Melford it is a. finished
release. The splendid cast including
Leatrlce Joy. Raymond Hutton.

is assurance enough of a production
of the first rank.

Starting on Sunday eevning and

Milton Sills. supported by Marguerite
DPLSMOHO. will appear in the pic-
ture entitled "What A Wife Learned."
The very title of the picture is in-
triguing. and the story is said to be
even more so.
