Six arrests were made in Stam-
ford Saturday night for alleged viola-
tions of the liquor law. when a
squad of detectives swooped down on
places in McCullough street. Chapel
street and Brown avenue. nnd locked
up the proprietors. All three estab-
lishments were said to be full of pat-
rons and doing a thriving business. ‘.
Those arrested were: John Mar-
ack. 36. Polish. storekeeper. snd hi.i

avenue; Rebecca and Florence Phil-
