for 817,500 from tho Hanna estate.
claiming that Hanna had agreed to
pay her the sum under a. life time
contract upon her promise to marry
him.
The claim of the girl came out to-
lday at a-hcaring before Surrogate
'Slater on the disposition of tie ten
million dollar estate of the millionaire
publisher.
Hanna died November 3. 1921, and
the claim or Miss Evans was filed
only recently by her attorneys.
Counsel for the executors rejected
the claim because it had not been
filed within three months after Han-
na’s death.
