"These sporadic cases may crop
out from time to time on account of
the nature or smallpox, which once
started. is very difficult to stop. as
evidenced in this case. Here is a
boy sick ten days and it was thought
he had grip.
“He apparently recovered and was
going around among the community.
in the stage of the disease which
was most contagious. To my mind
it is more contagious when the rush
appears than after the rash. I mlr

Disappears.
STAMFORD. April 5.—
Stolen clothes. a missing boy. an
auto accident and the loss of fourteen
pigeons were reported to the police
late yesterday afternoon and evening.
Homer Richards. 23. of Cleveland.
Ohio. was arrested last night at the
Baltimore Hotel. and locked up at pom
lice headquarters. on a charge of
theft. He is alleged to have taken a
grey suit of clothes. and a leather bag.
