HARTFORD, April 3.-———Mayor Phil-
lips' bill to provide for a zoning law
in the city of Stamford has not been
reported on as yet by the Legislative
committee >n Cities and Boroughs. it
was learned tonight. It is understood
that the committee is undecided what
course to pursue.
Zoning bills were introduced in the
general assembly from all sections of
Connecticut and it is said that legisla-
tors are in a quandary whether to
reject all or them. pass them all. or
approve of a general zoning bill to
affect the entire state.
The Committee on Cities and Bor—
oughs still has the Mayors bill to re-
organize the Health Department. it
is reported on reliable sources that the
measure will probably be adopted by
' the general assembly, to become et-
tective in 1925.
