The Library Committee of the
East Norwalk taprovsment Associa-
tion held a very successful collection
of old rags and popes-e on Monday
and Tuesday of this week. The sale
of the collection netted the sum of
882.“. which money will be used to
purchase new books for the library
shelves. It is planned by the com-
mittee to hold further, collections at
stated intervals and asks all who are
interested to accommodate them by
saving old rage and papers. holding
them until the time of the next "col.
lection. The thanks of the commit-
tee ie extended to all those who co-
operated with them in the recent col-
'lection and who contributed to the
very gratifying result.
