Curtln. Jersey City's {avorlte hour.
was an easy winner over Young Mont-
real in their match at the Fourth Reg-
lmcnt Armory last night. Curtin out-
pcinted his opponent in every round
but one of the twelve through which
the tight lasted. This was (‘Iktln'a
first appearance in the ring since (‘arl
Tremaine knocked hlm out in Mad-
ison Square Garden earlier In the scar
eon.
Curtin returned to the ring weighing
1221-2 pounds. He looked I-Very
ounce of it. lie either scaled more
than his announced Weight or he can
reduce several pounds more before
he gets on edge. Moreover. his judge-
ment of distance was a bit off.
Curtin started with n rush. and had
little trouble outscoring Montreal. Fro.

the fourth . fifth. tighth and ninth
