high school basketball team Crosby
high of W‘aterbury. would not get a
chance to play the Pascale high. A
number of basketball experts are of
the opinion that Crosby would be able
to end the winning streak of Passaic.
The following may give the basket-
ball fans a line on the two teams.
Clifton high school of New Jersey
gave the Passaic team the hardest
game since they started their long
string of victories. Passaic defeated
the Clifton team by the score of 36-34.
Recently in \Vaterbury in the second
game of a double header. the Crosby
team defeated the Clifton high by the
score of 65~81. in the first game of
the doublo header Crosby defeated the
strong: Commercial high team of ‘Vor-
costar.
The l"assaic Herald sent a special
writer to \Vaterbury to look over the
Crosby team in the Clifton game. In
, writing about the game he states that
the Crosby outfit is a super team. That
their style of playing is different from
most teams. and that they have a style
of play. in which each player is
counted upon to be at a certain place.
at a certain time. and that he is there.
The team does very little dribbling.
and every play is worked out with a
