Miller died at the Slam- ford Hospital shortly after six O'cl0ck last night after a brief illness with ap- pendicitis. Here no important events took place with- out his interest and valued advice. Always of modest bearing. few knew or Mr. Miller's many kindly acts of charity, many of them unmentioned except in a. few sincere words of thanks.
