District, at City Hall, Friday evening, March 23, to consider the ques-
tion of increasing the capacity of the South Norwalk Electrical
\Vorks. :
The money for the proposed changes, which will be decided upon
at themeeting is to be obtained either from the surplus earnings of

ed judgment or critical sense to guide that action. Similarly the
educated world has no end of men with judgment and critical sense, '
but who have lost the power of initiatiye.
So the scholastic success should do something besides his book
work.‘ He needs more than any other to take an active part in the
life of his college. Whether it be editing a college paper, report-
ing for the press, managing entertainments, playing on or managing
athletic teams, it all has its share in development of a well rounded
character.
