1 'ourish Camps

According to present plans of the local forester and the county
commissioners, there will be 11 tourist camps in Chicago’s forest pre-
serve next summer. Each camp will accommodate more than 1,600 f ‘
tourists during the season. They offer camping sites, water, lava~ :9le; 3:“???- We HgPE,
tory facilities and cooking places. One of these camps is all ready NATURAL” Ac EV“ LY
for occupation. The others will be ready when the season opens.

It is reported that there are innumerable requests for information
coming in from other cities, indicating that the tourist traffic will be
heavier than last season, and that many are planning to go through .
Chicago. . '

In addition to the people from other states whom such camps
serve, there are the localVorganizations such as Boy Scouts, hiking
clubs, Camp Fire Girls and others who use them for week-end or
Overnight stops.
