heard regarding the discontinuance of
the rug class. The instructor. Miss
Petremont. has made many friends
among those fortunate enough to
benefit by her teaching and many
who could net take advantage of the
rug making class this year are hoping
the class will again be conducted by
Miss Petremont next year.

Sullivan were killed in a seaplane 11c—
cident near Philadelphia, it was re-
ported to the Navy Department this
afternoon.
They were bringing a new type of
plane. built at the factory in Phila-
dclphia‘. to W‘ashington. when it
crashed about seven miles after
starting.
Lieutenant Farmr's home is in
\Vashington and Sullivan's in Chi-
cago.

foated the Cuvilller resolution asking
for an investigation of the Anti-
saloon league.
The committee in final action dc-

members of the committee voted in

H. Anderson in his fight to prevent
disclosure of details as to league re-
