Danbury Fair Grounds to replace
the wooden structure destroyed by
fire last October. Luke F. Sweeney.

loaded at one of the Fair Ground

of the charge of robbery preferred
against Eidith Dunne. colored. of this
city. who was charged with having

of Water and Raymond streets about
two weeks. The woman was bound

A 20-year-old girl. who gave her
name as 'Gladys Stein. was taken in
custody at 5 a. m.. yesterday by De-
tective Sergeants James Thewlis and
James Honrnbm in Stamford. on a
charge of leading an idle life. The
young woman has been under the sur-
veillance of the local police for sever-
al days. She is being detained in
the woman's quarters of the city lock-
up. pending disposition of the case.
The girl was taken at a local hotel.
She is also said to be well-known. in
Norwalk and Darlen.
