surance. were stolen from the resi-
dence of “Falter Leaman. of Chester
some time
during'the past two weeks while Mr.
Leanmn and his family were in the
south. according to a report of the
robbery tiled with police officials.
Police believe that the “break” was
the work of proteaionals. due to the
thorough manner in which they ran-
sacked the house. Entrance to the
residence was made through a kitch-
en window which the burglars forced
open with a jimmy. Detectives have
been assigned to the case and have
several suspects under their eye. An
arrest. or arrests will probably be
made within the next few dayi.
The liquor, 4 cases of honest-to-
goodness. before- prohibition- days.
whiskey. was stored in the cellar of
the home and had been there. ac-
cording to the story told the police.
