from start to finish. lied Kelley was
not in the line-up of the New Canaan
live last night. as he has been out of
[the games for the last. two weeks on
account of illness. His place was
taken by McCloskey of the fast Stam-
ford Separate team. which is consid-'
cred one of the best players in the
slate. bit this fact did not stop the
Guards last night. The team work of
the Life Guards was so fast that they
completely baffled the visitors at
times.
McCloskey was the leading scorer
for the New Canaan team. He tossed
in two baskets and one.foul goal for
a total of five points. «Riley Hogan
also played a. line game for the New
Canaan team. Harry Quinn was the
hard fought struggle. and when the
dust of battle had cleared away, the
Alumni had emerged victorious by the
score of 9 to 7. .
