It is not , a spirit of tolerance of
Christ and the church. It is not that
quiescent attitude of the spectator

sents. It is not that boasted "broad-

is “thin.” It is not in complacent
self-satisfaction. Self must die that
Christ may live.
No man can become an example
of Christ who does not know Him in~
tlmstelv. if any man has not the
spirit of Christ he is none of His.
Our talk must ~ be wholesome, our
manner of living, clean. our love. a.
real affection. our spirit undaunted.
our faith, victorious. and our purity
unsulliod. None who would be an
example can harbor an unforgiving
splrit_.nor dare he fail to seek pardon
for his own misdoings either to his
God or his fellows.
It might seem presumptuous for
one to say: I am an example of Jesus
Christ. inasmuch as we all have sin-
