Lefsltz of Beardsley Street, held .here
in $10,000 bonds for alleged theft of
automobiles. is wanted by police of
Allentown and Scranton, Pa" as a.
result of an investigation which has
been canducted by the Pennsylvania
authorities, and which has : :sulted
in the arrest of Samuel Elite. propri-
etor of. the Auto Radiator Co. of Al-
lentown, who says he is a. cousin of
chsitz.

Fhe Autos Seized

Five cars, which police say Elite
has confessed were received from Lef-
sltz and sold by him in Allentown.
hays been confiscated by the Allen-
town police. About 20 more cars.
also reported to have been seem-ed in
the same manner in which these five
cars were obtained, will be confiscat-
ed by the Pennsylvania. authorities if
they can be identified as stolen Ina-
ckines. .

In addition to the the cars Seized
by the Allentown authorities. follow-
ing a. check-up on Ellie's alleged con-
fession in which he implicates Let'-
sliz, three cars have been recovered
in Scranton, Pa. The three cars are
alleged by Scranton police to have
been stolen in New York City. Tiie
persons from whom they were taken
by the Scranton police all named
Letsitz. the Bridgeport automobile
dealer. as the man who sold them
the cars.

I! Letsitz Succeeds
himself of the charges which have
been lodged against him by state
police, Bridgeport police. and insur-
ance company investigators who
have been for months past checking
up on the movements of the so-
called "auto theft ring'din Bridge- 1
port: it is expected that in ’Penn-
sylvania authorities will ask or his
extradition to face charges in Allen-
town and Scranton.
