Stephen B. Davis_ in his report on the
death of Pieter Talomelll. on Dec. 25.
who died from injuries received in a
battle with three guards at the Con-
necticut State Hospital for the Insane
here. exonerates the three guards.
John H. Walsh. James Morrissey and
Thomas Tobin. who are held on the
chsrge of manslaughter. nevertheless.
Prosecutor Attorney Ernest Inglis
announced yesterday that although
the coroner; finds the men not crimi-
nally responsible. their status'remains
unchanged. And they will face the Su-
perior Court, in April. on the charge
of manslaughter. Walsh's bonds was
reduced to 3500. however. 92nd he is
cut on bonds. as are the other two
men. who were held in 8500 bonds
each.

ner's finding follows:
“I do not find that any person. or
persons. should be held to answer
criminally {or this death. a result of
this fight, brought on by the deceas-
ed. nnd for which considering his
mental stpte. he could not be held re-
sponsible. '
