night at the Non-walk Armory. The
spacious hall was crowded to capa-
city.
The hall was nicely arranged ‘fbr
the occasion. Scores of links were
used in giving the scene a. patriotic
color, adding to the gaiety oi' the oc-
carton.
"The Bottle of Music." a new nov-
city to reach Nox‘waik. was another
feature of the. evening. Gall's orches-
tra-and Grace Brothers' ‘orohcstrn
played for the dancing which was
continuous.
During the evening a platoon of
Battery C. under Lieutenants Philip
Sherwood and " luck" Day. gave an
exhibition of silent drill. going
through the manual of arms with
skill that won hearty applause.
The committee in charge of the
dance was headed by Sergeant Joseph
Mociler.
