erty tax collection is that the present
method of collection. through local
collections misses about’ 20 per cent. of
the car. This is calmed by transfer of h
cars and removal from one town to
another before, tax bills reach the
owners. Tax collectors report that
considerable amounts due are never
collected. Under the p'Foposed Jaw
the State would value the cars. and.
