How We Do It—

This business was started and originated by Pfederick M.
Heflin, not with a theory, but with a very practical purpose in
view, the need to supply the public with better shoes at lower
prices and working from this, his great self service idea de-
veloped into a great public service—

A system of shoe retailing that is , going to extend around
the world, and change the shoe. buying habits of millions of
thinking people—selling yourself shoes is the only safe and “eco-
uomical way. It’s the most valuable habit you have formed—
and you don’t need a doctor’s prescription to get it either.
