Dramatic Guild is «holding weekly re-
hearsals for a. rural comedy to be g'lv-
on early next month. The guild
realized 827 from the dance hold re-

There was a largely attended and
enthusiastic meeting of the Women’s
Guild on last Tuesday night. Returns
from the "little white boxes" now
total 8150. Reports from the cake
sale amounted to 862, while 316 was
received in the silver offering at the
recent party. It is planned to hold
weekly {or an indefinite period a ser-
ies of "round robin entertainments"
in the homes of the various members
of the guild, the number of guests at
each party to be limited to three peo-
ple. each guest paying fifty cents. As
there are over 100 members, it is
confidently expected that several hun-
dred dollars will be readily and quick-
ly realized. A large number have al-
roady volunteered to give such parties.
Mrs. Mettram, the president, is the
first hostess. Each guest accepting
an invitation to such party is pledged
to entertain at a party three other
people. The guild is also making
great preparation for the Annual Har-
vest Home Party to be held on Friday
night. October 27.
The fall work of the Glrls‘ Friendly
opens tonight. Miss Jennings requests
a. large. attendance.
