py dog!" laughed the wolf. "I'm very

“Then I won’t nip your heels!"

lMistcr \Volt‘!" said daddy bear.
“\Von't you have something:’ to eat?
lVVe have cream puffs. ladyfingers, nice
lcookics. and ham sandwiches and
’pickles!" ‘
The wolf let Red Riding Hood slide
down to the ground and thanked
daddy hour. “I'd like. a cream puff if
you have one to spare!" he said.
“I'll run to grandmother's and
bring her llcret” said the wolf. as he
trotted through the wood. Pretty
soon there came, Mister “'olf with
grnndmother; on his back. “Now is
illc timc for m-‘- to try Raggedy Andy's
slick!" thought Raggedy Ann. And
she took the little stick and wished
that little Rod Riding Hood's grand-
moillcr wouldn't be ill at all. And
she had hardly made the wish before
thc grundmothcr was wr-ll. “Now we
can hurt» n nice large picnic!" cried
