Section 41 of the Charter of the City
of Norwalk. Special Laws 1913. page
1082. the Police force of said City Of
Norwalk shall consist of a chief. o‘nc
detective police sergeant; two police
sergeants, a stated number of patrol-
rncn, as the Council may. from time to
time, deem necessary. whose duties
shall be determined by the Council.
and each of whom shall hold office
