The annual
meet of the Franklin \Iunior flight
school. the Center Junior high and
the Staples Junior high, is being held
today in- Bedford oval in Westport.
Scores of young athletes from ,the
three schools are participating in the
fourteen events slated on the pro-
gram for the day. -
Norwalk students were conveyed to
Westport by special trolleys at 10
detect: this morning. Four cars
carried the'Pranklin school students
to the scene or the meet and a simi-
lar number conveyed the Center
school students. Staid old Nor-walk
was awakened momentarily when the
cars passed through the First This-
trict. by the school children giving
the school yells.
Because of the smaller number of
students. each contestant from Stapl-
es was allowed to enter three events.
Contestants from the other two
schools were only allowed to enter
two events.
The contests scheduled are as fol-
