dist church is offering to the com-
munity next Friday evening a most
interesting lecture bV‘ Dr. Chatleg H-
Tymlall on "Ether Waves and Wire-
less Communications." Experiments
in wireless work will be performed
before the audience. so illustrating
and popularizing the lecture by the
laboratory method. . In the lecture
there will be demonstrations in reson-
ance, in wireless teleg‘raplnn and the
radiop‘none, in which brick and stone
walls and the human body are shown
to be transparent to the other waves
Methods of tuning wireless instru-
ments. and of finding the key note
at numerous objects will be illustrat-
ed. This lecture has been popular in
Europe and Ainerien. and commit-

table made by Albert Sundquist.‘

from an old piano purchased by a
member of the faculty. The piano
was dismantled and thé‘ frame used
for the table.
An electricparior lamp. made by
Howard Hassell, of Center school,
was another attractive feature of the
exhibit. The lamp shade, in part,
was made of woven wicker. This is
a new sideline to the. manual training
year. The serving trays were also
