girls who appeared to be most friend-

Hoyt. The Hope 'Hose Company re—
sponded to an alarm and saved the
house from being consumed by
threatening flames. The barn. how-
cver. burned to the ground. The loss
was about 32.000. '

in that neighborhood in years. The
