Burgess The world long since decided fully, It neither likes no?“ wants a bully. —Old Mother Nature. _________ Bully the English Sparrow and ‘Mrs. Bully had been living over by Farmer Brown's house. he were building a nest behind a blm . They had been driven out of the Old Orchard the year before. You know none. of the other little people who live in the Old Orchard like Bully and Mrs. Bully. Farmer Brown‘s 30 had driven them out the year beiyore. and they had never tried to go back. But Bully is sharp-eyed. There isn't a great deal gomg on near him that he doesn't find out about. He didn't discover those new houses in the Old Orchard at once, but after a few days he noticed that Winsome and that Bluebird were gathering dry grass, and he knew that this meant that they were building a nest. He watched them fl over into the Old Orchard and made op his mind that they were building a nest there. 0! course, he wanted to know where flint nest was, so he flew over to the ‘ Old Orchard. At once he discovered those new houses. His eyes sparkled. Ri t away he flew back to tell Mrs. Bul y. 'I'horc are the finest. houses you’ve over seen. my dear, over in the Old Orchard." he declared. “They are brand new, and we ought to have one .1 them." Hrs. Bull looked at the nest be- . the blind and then over to the 1 id Orchard. When he discovered Bully and Mrs. Bully a frown darkened his freckled face. “Hello!" he exclaimed. “This won’t do. This won’t 'do at all. You have no business over in the Old Orchard. That house wasn’t intended for you. None of these houses are for you. I hate to do it, but I’ll-have to put you out." TheniFanner Brown's Boy opened the bottom of that house and pulled out the nest of Bully and Mrs. Bully while they shrieked and scolded and made a terrible fuss. Of course. their neighbors hurried to see what was going on, and great was the re< joicing. Twice more Bully and Mrs. Bully started a nest in one of those houses and each time the nest was pulled out bh Farmer Brown's Boy.
